Kratie is a beautiful, small town with big trees and flamboyant trees with bright red flowers growing in rows along the riverbank, which raises the beauty of the tourists can go sightseeing at Sereiskonthor Vong Monastery called Kratie Monastery, parking lots, markets, apartment stores located downtown. A playground and museum are in the north, and in the south stand provincial administrationFrench-style buildings. Among these buildings, appears an attractive hotel.

In the suburb, tourists can see the big Khmer-style wooden houses. About 2 km to the south, a 200-year old ancient temple called Rorka Kondal pagoda is also a tourist sport where handcraft souvenirs made of rattan, and thorny palm tree’s leaves are sold inside. In the evening, tourists can enjoy the river sunset, beverage shops, and dessert stands in bake.

In front of these shops is a Trong Island on which there is a very long white beach that is tourists favorite place in the dry season. This place is called Chroy Rey resort on the upper part of the island. Tourists can enjoy relaxing under Rey tree and swimming in the limpid water. Kratie is not only a tourist destination but also a stopover before visitors keep on their journey to northeastern provinces or to Phnom Penh.
